Sorry for the late letter. Memorial day. no Libraries are open.
Mom, that's awesome about your new program. Congrats on losing the 5 pounds!
Sorry about work. Its hard sometimes. At least its not for eternity! hehe.
Rouses are moving? to St. Maries? there is like 5 people in that ward. haha. just kidding.
I will apply for a college when I get home. :)
Dad, its okay. I just learned to give guilt trips really well. its fine :)
Gavin, YOU'RE DISTRICT LEADER?????? THATS SO AWESOME! congrats!!!! you are going to be the next AP. haha :) just kidding.
I really hope you didn't have drugs. haha!
This week was an Ok week compared to finding. We haven't found anybody. ugh. frusterating.
But on Wednesday we had a monster of a storm. The tornado sirens went off and we were stranded doing service at Ronald McDonald house, because it was raining and hailing so badly. Tornados were actually forming!!!! People saw green sky and twisty clouds. There was a tornado that was actually was forming right above us at service, but I didn't see it. the staff told us to "Man the elevator." We took hysterical people to the basement and back up. I was like "whatevs!!! I want to see this thing!" I didn't have my camera and I didn't see it personally. Ugh! so sad!!! I guess one member told us that there were five tornados that barely touched down. (mom, notice the word "barely") SOOOO COOL! Idaho is so boring. I do have to admit that the sirens are a little creepy. Oh, and when the storm passed, I did see a funnel cloud from a VERY long way away. The warnings lasted for 2 days.
Other then the super awesome crazy weather, we taught our recent convert Taree, about the priesthood. She understood it completely, and a couple of days later, she texted us saying that her baby needed a blessing. so awesome!. Not her baby.
Anyway, I think that is it for the week. (I want more tornados!)

Hello everyone!

Mom, thanks for sending me the picture of dad. haha. where is his nametag? haha.
Well, I guess I am only writing to you this week since dad, or garrett haven't written me, and Gavin hasn't gotten on. haha. Oh well. I guess dad is in Boise? I can't believe Grandpa 90! That's awesome :)
That's terrible about the lady. I would seriously reprimand the employees. That's really terrible.
That stupid dog. She's hilarious!
About the bank. I swear I changed it to my gmail account before I left. Super weird. Please call the bank and see if you can get it worked out.

This week was VERY slow. Last Monday, I had lost my flash drive on one of the computers, and it turns out that it got stolen. So I had over 800 pictures backed up on that drive, and so now I have to buy a new one. UGH!
On Wednesday, we had a HUGE zone conference that was held in Brighton which is about 40 minutes away from where we live. It was from 9-4. I never knew that just sitting for 7 hours could wear you out. Its crazy. But it was really good. I learned so much, and it was really spiritually uplifting. It was also Sister and President Toombs last zone conference as well. SUPER sad! But they didn't do their departing testimonies because they are doing a HUGE mission conference next month on the 4th. That will be a sad day.
We did find a new investigator! He was a headquarters referral, and we met with him, and he is golden! He's 17, and all we have to do that will be really hard is to meet his parents. His mom works all the time and his parents are divorced. Its going to be tricky.
Then for about 3 days my comp has been sick. She has just been exhausted. I hate it when sickness hits the companionship. There is nothing to do. And its really hard when you are living with a family because they watch TV, and you can't be a part of it. Oh well. I did do Sudoku for about 5 hours on Saturday. That was interesting.
All is well with us. I promise next week will be a little more interesting :)

I love you all!

Sister Rook

P.S. Gavin, so everyone knows you. I have a friend who's name is sister Falke. She knows elder Tait who knows you!! haha.

Hello everyone!!

Mom, Sister Erickson is having a girl? that's so awesome!!!
I got my shoes fixed. They are fine now. Yes, in the package, I would actually like a black skirt. My other one is getting worn out and it has bleach stains on it. (long story). So that is what I actually need. :) No candy!!!
I am glad work is going better for you. And really sad about the ARP lady. She just probably need to get therapy or something.
Can we Skype at 6? It will be 7 my time, so that will leave room for dinner and stuff, and other misisonaries want to Skype at the same persons house. haha :)

Dad, that's awesome that you are just about done with your book!!! That's so exciting!

Garrett, wilt thou write me? Please? Por Favor? "Please" (In French)

Gavin, I thought we couldn't go hiking as missionaries?? oh well. Its your spirituality. not mine. haha. Just kidding!

So this week has been REALLY slow.
We have been trying to get a hold of our investigators. One put us on hold, because she just had a baby, the other just dropped us and all the others are just avoiding us. UGH!
But a really interesting experience happened to us this week. The elders in our ward have been working with a 14 year old boy who they are trying to baptize. So his sister is taking an interest as well now and she is 11. (I love 11 year olds!!) So they said just come with us to our appointment and we can introduce you. So we were super excited for this and we also had to rearrange our appointments, and end dinner a little early. So we are driving to this address that the elders gave us, turns out it was a wrong address. So they said oh never mind just come at 7:20. So we came at 7:20 and we waited for them for about 20 minutes before they introduced us. It was a little awkward. haha. So we are going to start teaching her this week! I am super excited!
Taree's brother is not really progressing. He ditched on our appointment and Taree was a little mad. So we ended up talking to her about the temple and baptisms for the dead. The Ward Mission Leader is doing a temple trip for all the Recent Converts in the ward, so Taree is one of them! We talked to her about it and she didn't ask any questions. She looked at her calendar of when it was and she said "yup. I can go." She's AMAZING!!!!
That is pretty much all that happened this week. Other then lots of tracting and a lot more next week.
I love you all!!!

Sister ROok
we volunteer at Ronald McDonald House a couple times a week. They also receive a lot of shipments of bread from Panera Bread Co. every week. This lady gave us a whole trash bag of bread!

Its a little blurry, but the johnsons fed their pet snake a dead rat. I got to watch it. It was so cool!!!!!!
